Brian Ness

U.S. Army veteran. Fifteen years integrating mission-critical systems for the military and federal enterprise customers. Building Landfall to put that discipline to work for the small businesses of North Carolina.

Background

Brian spent eight years in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Bragg, then another decade integrating mission-critical systems for the military and federal enterprise customers. That work has spanned air defense and counter-drone platforms, field support for U.S. Special Operations Command, and enterprise migrations for the U.S. Air Force and federal medical systems — often overseas, often in rooms where the network simply could not fail.

In 2021 he founded his first company, an IT services firm based in Fayetteville. He ran it for a year before a defense contract pulled him back out. Landfall is the return.

He studied cybersecurity at the University of Maryland Global Campus and general studies at Fayetteville Technical Community College. He lives in Fayetteville.

Why Landfall builds this way

AI integration is systems integration with a model in the middle. The hard part is not the demo. It is the handoff between the phone, calendar, CRM, document store, billing system, and the human responsible when automation should stop. That is the part Brian has spent his career around: brittle systems, high-trust environments, and work that has to survive outside a conference room.

Landfall brings that discipline to small businesses in Fayetteville and North Carolina. The goal is not an AI transformation deck. The goal is answered calls, cleaner records, faster follow-up, fewer repeated questions, and a workflow your staff can trust on Monday morning.
